UNPLUG - UNWIND - LAKE TIME

  • At the Keuka Cove House, our mission is to create a place where people can truly unplug, unwind, and reconnect — with nature, loved ones, and themselves. We believe that time by the lake should be effortless and restorative. From thoughtful amenities to welcoming spaces, every detail is designed to help guests slow down, breathe deeply, and feel at home on Keuka Lake.

  • Our vision is to preserve and share the timeless beauty and charm of Keuka Lake through meaningful guest experiences. We strive to be more than a destination — a place that inspires tradition, togetherness, and gratitude for the simple moments that matter most. Whether it’s your first stay or your fifth, we hope the Keuka Cove House becomes part of your lake story.

  • Authenticity: We celebrate real moments and genuine connections.

    OWNER

I grew up in a small town in Andover, NY — even smaller than nearby Penn Yan — but some of my best memories were made on Keuka Lake. My grandparents and uncle had a place on the West Bluff, and summers here quickly became the highlight of my childhood.

Keuka Lake has always held a special place in my heart. Since college, I’ve often said that one day I’d love to own a home here, though I never imagined it would happen so soon. When the opportunity came to purchase what was once the historic Hart-Scott, I knew it was the chance to carry forward its legacy while creating something fresh for future guests.

That vision became the Keuka Cove House — a reimagined retreat that honors the property’s timeless charm while offering modern comforts and experiences. More than just a place to stay, this home represents my way of giving back to the lake that has given me so many memories, joy, and lifelong connections.

Whether you’re gathering with family, reconnecting with friends, or simply unwinding by the water, my hope is that the Keuka Cove House offers you the same sense of joy, peace, and belonging that Keuka Lake has always given me.

    Jeb “Webbers” Brubaker

    SECURITY BARK OFFICER

Jeb was an unexpected gift. In August of 2024, my sister’s husband rescued a dog while traveling through Pennsylvania, and they eventually named her Rosie. To everyone’s surprise, Rosie was pregnant — and when her puppies arrived, I chose Jeb because he reminded me most of his mom. From the very beginning, he quickly stole my heart.

Rosie proudly serves as the Security Bark Officer at the Keuka Cove Inn just down the road, and when the same position became available here at the Keuka Cove House, she was quick to “recruit” her son to the team. Jeb takes his duties seriously, greeting visitors with tail wags and making sure every squirrel, chipmunk, and delivery driver knows the property is well protected.

When he’s off duty, Jeb can usually be found chasing sticks, napping in sunny spots, or sneaking belly rubs from guests. Equal parts loyal guard dog and lovable sidekick, he’s become an inseparable part of the Keuka Cove House family — and just like me, he’s always ready to welcome new friends to the lake.

Note: Jeb isn’t actually onsite or involved with your stay — but I had to give the guy a shout-out. He’s too good of a pup not to! 🐾
