Boathouse

August, 2025

When the property was bought, the boathouse was a plain and utilitarian structure, used mostly for storing paddles, life jackets, and miscellaneous gear. It wasn’t designed for comfort or enjoyment, and over time it had become more of a shed than a true part of the lake experience. Lacking charm and purpose, it wasn’t being used as a gathering space and offered little to enhance the beauty of the waterfront.

The vision for this space is to transform the once-basic boathouse into a welcoming BOATHOUSE LOUNGE This project is still IN-PROGRESS, but major steps are underway — trees are being cleared, the exterior is being repainted, and the interior is being reimagined to create a comfortable retreat by the water.

Once complete, the lounge will feature air conditioning, a fridge, a grill, and a bar cart, providing everything needed for a relaxing day on the lake. The goal is to turn the boathouse into more than just storage — a breezy lakeside hangout where guests can gather, recharge, and make the most of their time at the water’s edge. As the project progresses, photos will continue to be updated to showcase the transformation.
